Student Ministries

We have a fulltime pastor and a great team working with our middle and high school students. With several opportunities designed specifically for them, students are sure to have a blast, make friends – and discover what it means to become a generation that emerges passionately with Christ.

Kids' Ministries
At CNX Kids, we have staff and volunteers ready to engage your child from nursery until 5th grade. We have a full service kids church for our preschool students that is specifically designed for them. For the elementary students we have a full kid's service complete with relationship building, scripture memory, relevant teaching, and a small group time led by kids. Young Adult / College & Career Ministries
We have quite a number of young adults (single and married) who are in college and in their 20s who call Connections home.  In addition to weekly small group meetings, there are regular activities for the entire group like dinners, plays, movies, game nights and just hanging out. 

Over 40 Group
If you have a bit of life experience under your belt, you might enjoy hanging out with the over-40 crowd at Connections.  Its an active group and they plan lots of activities on a regular basis, both large and small.

Small Groups
Connections is intentional about building relationships with a group of believers in a way that allows you to experience accountability, sense of belonging, and care.

What can you expect at small groups? A safe place where you can be yourself. A place where we can commit to one another to help each other, care for each other, support each other. Time devoted to Bible study, prayer, and fellowship.

We currently have a few small groups.

There is a young adult group (mainly college age and 20-somethings) that meets on Wednesday nights at 8:00pm. Contact Scott & Sarah S. at 919-612-3504 to verify meeting times and places and with any questions.

Another young adult small group meets at Borders bookstore in Cary each week.

Connections Ladies
If you are looking for a dynamic group of women to gather with
at Connections, you will find it. Whether it's stay-at-home moms, female entrepreneurs and everything in between, you will be in great company with the women of Connections. Check the weekly bulletin for the latest happenings with Connections Ladies.

A sampling of a few activities include: ladies fellowship, coffee and prayer time, bible studies, Bunko nights, Spring Garden Party, outings for breakfast, Mommy & Me Monday Mornings for our stay at home moms, Christmas Catalog and Crafting Parties - get involved or be a hostess of an upcoming Connections Ladies event.

Connections Guys
We guys like to throw things. We've thrown darts, discs (for Disc Golf), bowling balls.  We gather about once a month just to hang out and do something fun or destructive (like working on the church building).  Updates are found in our church email newsletter (you might want to subscribe).

Sign Language Ministry for the Hearing Impaired
Our professional sign language interpreters (we have many) and our deaf members would love to meet and talk with you and provide signing for our weekly worship service.  more about our sign language ministry

International Ministries: Reaching Out

At Connections, we believe in reaching beyond the walls of our building, beyond the boundaries of our state and country to do the work God would have us do. Specifically, we actively support mission work in Haiti through Horizontal Hope Ministries and other ministries worldwide.
