Connections Kids' Ministries welcomes you to Journey with Jesus with us.

Safety First 

Connections provides a safe and loving environment for children of every age. We have created a safety policy for your child to offer them the best of secure care. We check-in all children, from birth through 5th grade, prior to the service beginning at 9:15a for the first service or 11:00a for the second service. Our procedure works as follows: Each week you will check-in your child at the kids’ room. If you have a diaper bag, you we ask that you label it as well. You will then sign your child into their classroom.  

Our church volunteers and staff have all been screened for criminal background and have impeccable references on file in order for them to participate in kids’ ministries.

Out of consideration for all the children at Connections, if your child has any of the following symptoms, please do not bring them into the kids’ classrooms:

• Fever greater than 99.9 F in the past 24 hours.
• Green nasal discharge
• Drainage from the eyes or ears (excluding pink eye if the child has been on eye medication for OVER 24 hours)
• Any rash that has not been identified as non-contagious by a doctor
• Chicken pox lesions that have not yet crusted over
• Diarrhea or vomiting that has occurred 2-3 times in the past 24 hours

If your child develops any of the above symptoms while in kids’ ministries, you will be asked to pick him/her up from the classroom immediately to prevent the possible spread to other children. 

A child should not be brought to kids’ ministries areas after a disease, until the contagious period is completely over.

Our Sunday morning program is divided into 5 age groups (we offer these classes at BOTH our 9:30am and 11:15am services). 

Birth until Walking. Our church volunteers provide the very best in quality child care so that every parent can attend church with the confidence that their child is being provided for and loved. Label all bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers and bags with your child’s name using markers provided.

Walkers until Preschool.  For children who can walk steadily until they are of preschool age.  Lots of quality play time and some time for instruction with simple lessons. 

CNX Kids Preschool - Ages 3/4, must be potty-trained and able to attend without assistance. This group has their own teacher and assistant teacher. This is a full preschool worship complete with songs, crafts, a bible lesson, and relationship building time.

CNX Kids Grades K-3  is a specially created environment just for kids ages 5-Grade 3. Our desire is for kids to experience God in a fresh and creative way that leads them in their growing relationship with Jesus Christ. And we make it fun! CNX Kids includes kids’ worship, group teaching, and hands-on activities to carry the message on home. At the close of the program, kids will have their closing announcements for upcoming events.

CNX Kids Grades 4-5 a class specially designed for the 4th and 5th grader.  More discussion and interaction plus hands-on learning.

Special Events

Periodically, Connections Kids’ Ministries hosts special events for the kids such as field trips, and special missions and community building projects that allow for the kids to have a fun hang-out time. These events are a great way to invite someone new to church with you! Our hope is that our parents will be highly involved with their child throughout the community projects. 

Some of our most recent events have included a fun night at a local miniature golf course, a kid’s night out, and a special day of baking/creating goods for our under resourced friends downtown.
