Connections Kids' Ministries welcomes you to SPACE PLACE where we think you are outta this world - TO ETERNITY & BEYOND!!

Mission & Strategy

The SPACE PLACE exists to:
 Serve Jesus
 Praise Jesus
 Advance in Jesus
 Connect others in Jesus, and
 Excitedly tell others about Jesus.

When you enter the PLACE, you must:
Prepare 4 a Life Altering, Christ-centered Experience.

Safety First

Connections provides a safe and loving environment for children of every age. We have created a safety policy for your child to offer them the best of secure care. We check-in all children, from birth through 5th grade, prior to the service beginning at 10:15. Our procedure works as follows: Each week you will check-in your child at the kids’ registration table. At registration, you will receive a security card to show for pick up of your child. If you have a diaper bag, you we ask that you label it as well. You will then sign your child into their classroom. At checkout, parents are required to present security cards for pick up and sign their child out of their classroom.

Our church volunteers and staff have been screened for criminal background and have impeccable references on file in order for them to participate in kids’ ministries.

Our Sunday morning program, Space Jam, is divided into 3 age groups:

Birth through age 2, programming consists of music, play, Bible, snack, and art. Please place a stick-on name tag on your child's back. Label all bottles, sippy cups, pacifiers and bags with your child’s name using markers provided. Our church volunteers provide the very best in quality child care so that every parent can attend church with the confidence that their child is being provided for and loved.

Ages 3 & 4, must be potty-trained and able to attend without assistance.

SPACEJAM is a specially created environment just for kids ages 3 -Grade 5. Our desire is for kids to experience God in a fresh and creative way that leads them in their growing relationship with Jesus Christ. And we make it fun! We will begin SPACEPLACE at 10:30 AM. SPACEPLACE includes kids’ worship, group teaching, and hands-on activities to carry the message on home. Our preschoolers visit the spaceCRAFT and make --you guessed it, crafts! At the close of the program, kids will have their closing announcements for upcoming events, receive their ASTROCASH rewards, and visit the starshipenterPrize to cash out on their great behavior!

Special Events

Periodically, Connections Kids’ Ministries hosts special events for the kids such as lock-ins, field trips, and special missions and outreach projects that allow for the kids to have a fun hang-out time and just build relationships. These events are a great way to invite someone new to church with you! Our hope is that our parents will be highly involved with their child throughout the mission/outreach projects, attending with them, and teaching their child about giving of themselves to help others less fortunate.
