Welcome to emerge student ministries (ESM).
Excuses are the
cornerstone for students who avoid church. Irrelevant. Repetitive.
Dull. Could it be these are valid concerns? Relevancy is important.
Unhealthy repetition is damaging. Dullness is…well…dull. ESM is well
aware of the countless excuses lurking around present-day teenagers,
and our leadership team is committed to providing the solution –
excitement.
Our purpose
is to help students encounter God's love and become a generation
that emerges passionately with Christ.
Our mission
is to create experiences that will lead students to a life of
faith.
Heard that before?

Sunday Morning Worship
is church for students on Sunday morning. While the adults are
gathered together for morning worship, students gather for a
separate service designed for them, where we explore God’s Truth
through
practical teaching, meaningful worship, drama and media
ministries.
Outings
& Trips
occur every six weeks, depending on scheduled events,
and provide students the chance to connect with each other outside
of regular weekly activities. Excitement is never lacking at these
events.
NIGHT LIFE CAFÉ (NLC)
is
the Friday night hangout for students. Whether lounging around
10 flat-screens watching music videos, stomping the DDR floor pads,
challenging your friends at Guitar Hero, or just hanging out talking with friends,
NLC is great option for students.
Winter Summit
is the most anticipated event of the year. Culture is distracting.
Life is demanding. Everyone needs to retreat. During this event
students will explore God’s truth through practical teaching,
engaging worship, drama and media presentations and plenty of
high-energy activities. Did we mention skiing and snow boarding?
Higher Ground Summer Camp
is a
life-changing summer experience. Quality recreational activities and
events combined with solid Christian principles and values, students
rave about
Higher Ground (July 19-25). In addition to daily sports and recreation,
students will attend inspiring praise and worship, meaningful
chapels, and interactive small groups.
Our
team wants to do everything possible to welcome newcomers and answer
any questions you might have. Hopefully you will decide to come
experience for yourself the incredible ways God is moving here at
Connections Church.
Blessings,
Shawn Cooper, Student Pastor
